So, to give you more insight into our new PalletizOS software, I’m going to go ahead and show you some of the configurations that we’re able to do in our settings.
General Settings
- In our settings, in the General tab, we’re able to go ahead and quickly toggle between metric and imperial.
- We also allow for multiple conveyor orientations and multiple conveyors attached to the system. Currently, as you see, we have a single in-feed conveyor.
- If the application requires it, we can go ahead and add a second conveyor, and we can also change the orientation of that conveyor and how it is presented to the robot.
Pallet Settings
- We also have some additional pallet settings. One that is very important is the acceptable pallet overhang—essentially, how much extra we can have off the sides of the pallet.
- We also have the offsets, should the pallet need to be spaced out further from the robot.
Slip Sheets
- We also allow the system to have slip sheets, so I’ll show you what that looks like:
- You would go ahead and toggle this on.
- You’ll see here in the software, this is the current position for the slip sheet frame.
- You would teach this pose with the robot in our software, go ahead and set that position, and then we have all of these settings down here that we program for you to handle that very efficiently.
Remote Support
- Lastly, a very important feature that we’ve added is the ability for easy remote support:
- We have the ability to connect to Wi-Fi and open TeamViewer directly with the unit.
- Most customers do not permanently network our solution, but should they need remote support, they go ahead, put the unit on Wi-Fi, and then we’ll get connected with them to quickly resolve their challenges without even having to get on a flight.”
