Automate 2026: The Future of Doosan Robotics Americas

Doosan Robotics attended Automate 2026 with thousands of manufacturing professionals, system integrators, and automation demonstrations where we showcased a variety of collaborative robotic applications designed to help manufacturers automate repetitive production processes. Throughout the week, our team had great conversations with current customers, distribution partners, integrators, and many new colleagues about practical automation and the robotic technology needed to solve challenges in productivity, flexibility, and workplace safety.

NEW Product Launch: The Next Generation of Palletizing

Among the solutions showcased at Automate, Doosan Robotics introduced the PalletizHD+, our newest cobot palletizing platform designed to simplify deployment and daily operation. Built around Doosan’s high-payload collaborative robots and powered by the native PalletizOS platform, PalletizHD+ helps manufacturers increase throughput while reducing operational complexity. 

  • High-speed palletizing with throughput of up to 11 cycles per minute 
  • AI-assisted pallet pattern generation that eliminates manual programming 
  • One-screen PalletizOS controls for simplified operation and fast SKU changeovers 
  • SwiftMove path optimization that calculates efficient robot trajectories for improved cycle times 
  • Production-ready deployment with a compact footprint and simplified installation 
  • Single-source support for hardware, software, and application expertise

What truly sets PalletizHD+ apart is its unified approach to automation. Instead of relying on multiple vendors, disconnected software, and custom engineering, the system is engineered as one integrated solution that operators can quickly learn and manage in real production environments. With features such as built-in pallet library, saved conveyor configurations, AI-enhanced pallet building, and just the simplicity of the touch screen controls and ongoing software enhancements, every feature is designed to simplify daily operation.

A Complete End-of-Line Automation Solution

In addition to standalone palletizing, Doosan Robotics demoed a fully integrated end-of-line automation system cells featuring: 

  • Case Erecting 
  • Case Packing 
  • Palletizing (PalletizHD+) 

Production teams visiting the Doosan booth at Automate were able to see how to combine these processes into a single workflow to can reduce manual handling, improve consistency, and increase overall throughput. The end of line automation package can be delivered as a single system or portable work cells which maintain flexibility for changing production needs and multiple line tending. 

Safety and Training demos: Collaborative Robotics as an Emerging Technology

Our booth also featured collaborative robot demonstrations focused on workplace safety and operator training. Cobots can safely operate alongside employees without additional caging or guarding, allowing for a minimal footprint and greater flexibility for applications than traditional industrial robots. Our training and safety demos gave visitors a first hand experience of how Doosan arms are some of the most sensitive cobots on the market. This enhances Doosan Robotics’ arm safety while also allowing for tactile task completion and programming.  

Partner Technologies on Display: Welding, Sanding, and Inspection

Automate also provided an opportunity to showcase technologies from Doosan Robotics partners. 

MARI demonstrated robotic welding and robotic sanding and finishing applications, highlighting solutions for manufacturers seeking greater consistency and productivity in fabrication processes. 

3Di exhibited its automated inspection technology, showcasing how cobots can integrate with advanced vision systems for custom pathing around unique parts for improved quality control and repeatablity. See their system on LinkedIn.

Together, these technologies demonstrated how multiple automation solutions can work together to create more efficient manufacturing operations. 

Looking Ahead

Automate 2026 was an exciting opportunity to introduce PalletizHD+ to the industry, marking a significant milestone for cobot palletizing technology deployed by a single point-of-service. 

PalletizHD+ represents the next evolution of end-of-line automation. Throughout the event, all of our demonstrations showed firsthand how intuitive software, collaborative robotics, and adaptable design can help manufacturers improve throughput, reduce manual labor, and simplify daily operation.
